Industrial Oil Burners

Dunphy industrial oil burners can be used with all types of oils, such as:

  • Biofuels / Biooils
  • B5 to B100
  • Kerosene
  • Methanol / Ethanol
  • Gas oil / Diesel
  • Medium fuel oil
  • Heavy fuel oil
  • Synthetic fuels

These burners can operate individually, as dual oil burners, or in simultaneous firing mode for multiple oil types. Suitable for all oil heat, steam, and incineration boilers, furnaces, and process applications, they range from 60kW to 60MW.

Low NOx combustion heads reduce emissions to 120mg/Nm³ for low-temperature hot water and 150mg/Nm³ for steam, with even lower levels achievable using flue gas recirculation (FGR). Steam and air atomisation options provide increased turndown ratios.

Multi Fuel Burners

Dunphy multi fuel burners are great for combining up to four fuels. They can burn individually or simultaneously, with the ability to change from one fuel to another when configured automatically.

Dunphy industrial multi fuel burners can be used with almost any combination of fuel types. These burners can operate individually or simultaneously, with automatic fuel switching in case of disruption. Triple-fuel options allow waste fuel combustion alongside standard fuels, with a third fuel as backup. Suitable for all hot water, steam, and incineration boilers, furnaces, and various process applications, they range from 100kW to 80MW. NOx levels vary by fuel and application—refer to specific burner details. Steam and air atomisation options enhance turndown ratios, while a digital fuel/air ratio control system improves efficiency.

2. Gas Boosters

Dunphy offers gas boosters for reliable low gas pressure solutions, with 1 to 3 units providing up to 82mBar pressure lift and 1300m³/hr volume. Custom boosters are available for higher pressure or volume needs.

What is a Gas Booster

A gas booster increases gas pressure for industrial and commercial applications, supporting combustion, distribution, and high-pressure testing.

What is a Gas Booster Set

A gas booster set is a complete system with compressors, regulators, and controls, while a gas booster is a standalone pressure-increasing device. Booster sets are used for complex applications requiring precise pressure control.

How do Gas Boosters work

Gas boosters use a pump or compressor to increase gas pressure, drawing in low-pressure gas, compressing it, and delivering it at a higher pressure. They ensure a steady supply for combustion, testing, and industrial processes.

Simplex Gas Boosters

Dunphy simplex gas boosters provide a robust and reliable solution to the problem of low gas pressure. They comprise of a single booster unit that, as standard, can provide a pressure lift of up to 82mBar and volumes up to 1300m3/hr.

Our gas boosters meet the requirements of BS 8487, for the design and construction of gas boosters in association with combustion equipment.

Features include:

  • Cast iron construction for high levels of safety
  • High efficiency, backward bladed fan mounted on a twin bearing supported precision ground shaft
  • ATEX versions available
  • Variable speed drive, to minimise electrical consumption and noise, and soft start options are available biogas and towns gas variants available
  • Bypass loop arrangements can be accommodated for low flow (high turndown applications)
  • SCADA/BMS integration available

Duplex Gas Boosters

Dunphy duplex gas boosters provide a robust and reliable solution to the problem of low gas pressure. They comprise of two booster units that, as standard, can provide a pressure lift of up to 82mBar and volumes up to 1300m3/hr. Bespoke gas boosters are available where there is a requirement for a greater pressure lift or volume. They are available in horizontal or vertical configurations

A duplex gas booster offers duty standby or duty assist operation, providing system redundancy and reducing strain through automatic unit rotation on a 7-day timer.

Features include:

  • Cast iron construction for high levels of safety
  • High efficiency, backward bladed fan mounted on a twin bearing supported precision ground shaft
  • ATEX versions available
  • Variable speed drive, to minimise electrical consumption and noise, and soft start options are available biogas and towns gas variants available
  • Bypass loop arrangements can be accommodated for low flow (high turndown applications)
  • SCADA/BMS integration available

Triplex Gas Boosters

A triplex gas booster provides the benefit of various operating modes:

  • Duty/standby/standby
  • Duty/assist/standby
  • Duty/duty/standby

This provides a customer with the peace of mind of having redundancy in the system whilst also relieving pressure on a single device by enabling an auto-rotation of units based on a 7 day timer clock.

Other features include:

  • Cast iron construction for high levels of safety
  • High efficiency, backward bladed fan mounted on a twin bearing supported precision ground shaft
  • ATEX versions available
  • Variable speed drive, to minimise electrical consumption and noise, and soft start options are available biogas and towns gas variants are available
  • Bypass loop arrangements can be accommodated for low flow (high turndown applications)
  • SCADA/BMS integration is available
