Mr. Dixon was previously Executive General Manager, Corporate & Risk, with Tox Free Solutions Limited (Tox Free) for almost a decade prior to its acquisition by Cleanaway in 2018 for an enterprise value of $831 million.Tox Free was one of Australia’s leading waste management and environmental solutions companies, with over 1,500 staff and a turnover of approximately $500 million.
In this role, Mr. Dixon completed due diligence and funding for acquisitions totalling approximately $400 million and equity capital raisings totalling approximately $250 million.
During his career, Mr. Dixon has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, with an emphasis on building a positive organisational culture to support a growth mindset. He is a strong believer in providing staff mentoring and development at all levels to engender an organisational focus on achieving targets. Additional skills Mr. Dixon will bring in support of The Environmental Group Limited strategic goals are in business improvement, debt and equity funding, mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate affairs and investor relations experience. Mr. Dixon has significant knowledge of the environmental services sector and will drive opportunities for the expansion and growth of The Environmental Group Limited.
Mr. Dixon has a Bachelor of Business from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Governance. Mr. Dixon’s qualifications and skills will not only add significant business acumen and leadership ability, but also a disciplined approach to the use of capital and the overall governance of The Environmental Group Limited.
Mr. Bush is a Fellow CPA, an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. He has over 30 years’ experience holding senior financial and commercial roles in companies such as Siemens and Brambles.
Joining The Environmental Group Limited in February 2022, Mrs. Borghouts is a defence veteran, having 20 years of experience in logistics and operations and more than 5 years as a consultant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, delivering cross-government department programmes of work and supply chain solutions.
Mrs. Borghouts has extensive experience managing global operations for engineering design and heavy metal fabrication operations for mining and energy customers, with teams based around the globe.
As a member of The Environmental Group Limited Executive Team, her role includes ensuring operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally sound manner, whilst delivering consistent quality to The Environmental Group Limited customers. Building ‘One Way’ way of doing business that aligns with customer expectations through the integration of new acquisitions, developing a sustainable supply chain through proactive engagement across the existing and new supplier bases, and working closely with teams on project execution are of primary focus.
Mr. Gaskett brings 14 years’ experience in industrial services and total waste management to his role at EGL and has extensive experience in compiling tender proposals for government, mining, refinery, and oil and gas projects, including logistics and financial modelling, investment analysis, the creation of management plans, research, and innovation.
Mr. Gaskett has extensive experience with both waste management and industrial services, having overseen major contracts with some of Australia’s largest mining and resource companies, covering various locations throughout Australia. Services included sales and tender development, project management, total waste management, and mobilisation of key contracts nationally.
His role includes the development and execution of services in new markets nationally while looking at growth and development opportunities for the business. Before his current role, Mr. Gaskett had been the regional manager overseeing three states for the last 10 years.
