The Environmental Group Limited is an environmental engineering company that provides products and engineering services to various industries to improve environmental outcomes. The Group has several operating divisions, including Waste for recycling and sorting technologies, Total Air Pollution Control for gas emissions, particle removal, and odour controls, Energy for combustion efficiency, heat exchange, biomass boilers, and autoclaves, Baltec for noise control intake and off-take systems, and turbines, and EGL Water for PFAS separation technology. EGL WASTE RECOVERY SERVICES deliver cutting-edge waste sorting and baler systems, plus spare parts and services to ensure safe and efficient plant operations across Australia.
We deliver innovative PFAS EXTRACTION technology, removing 99% of PFAS from water, biosolids, and soil. Our solution eliminates the need for costly transportation and storage, providing an effective and sustainable approach to PFAS remediation.
Access Systems - Inlet
Stairs, ladders and platforms are provided to access the
various levels of the filter house for maintenance, testing
and filter element replacement.
Weather Hood
Located at the front of the inlet filter house prevent rain
and snow entering the filter house. Often house a bird
screen and sometimes pre-filters.
Filter Module
Inlet filter module contains all the individual filters that filter
the air. The filters are field replaceable and can be panel type
or cylindrical. Filter module can have a pulse cleaning
system for dusty environments.
Inlet Ducting
Inlet ducting directs clean air from the
filter module to the gas turbine inlet plenum.
Inlet Silencer
Inlet Silencer attenuate the noise
emitted from the turbine compressor.
Acoustic Enclosure
When noise needs to be limited more that
the shell insulation is able to attenuate.
Inlet Expansion Joint
A flexible connection between the inlet filter house and gas
turbine inlet. Ejs allow for thermal expansion and alignment
of the different components, allowing movement in the vertical
and horizontal directions.
Gas Turbine
Baltec systems are adapted to all makes, types and sizes
ofturbines. Baltec supplies to all the major gas turbine
manufactures, EPCs and end users.
Exhaust Ducting
Direct hot gases from the gas turbine
to the diverter or exhaust stack.
Diverter Damper
Used in combined cycle applications directs gas
up through an exhaust stack or to the HRSG.
Guillotine Damper
Provides a secondary shutoff after the diverter damper
to prevent any hot gases entering the HRSG. Allows
maintenance work on the HRSG while the GT is operating.
Exhaust Expansion Joint
A flexible connection between the gas turbine and the
exhaust system, between the HRSG and the exhaust system
and the diverter damper and the bypass stack. Ejs allow for
thermal expansion of the different components, allowing
movement in the vertical and horizontal directions.
Exhaust Silencer
Attenuates the noise from the gas turbine exhaust system
to comply with environmental noise limit requirements.
Exhaust Stack
Directs the exhaust gases from the gas turbine to the
atmosphere at an elevation safe for the surrounding
conditions and ensure proper plume dispersion. Cold
shell design that is customised for the site conditions
and customer requirements.
Support Structure
Supports the stack above the Diverter damper. Also for
supported stacks that have an elbow to allow for future
conversion to combine cycle.
Access Systems - Exhaust
Stairs, ladders and platforms are provided to access the
various levels of the stack and guillotine for maintenance
and Emissions testing.
